Hey @elonmusk , please set this rule: Political leaders who ban Internet & Twitter access to their own people should not have a Twitter account. Khamenei, the Butcher of Tehran, has more than 4 accounts in different languages while Iranians can hardly gain access.

I think @elonmusk should set a new rule: In countries where people do not have access to Twitter or to the Internet, their leaders should not have access to it either. Thousands of Iranians cannot get accounts, yet Khamenei has one.

Many forget this, but Napoleon Bonaparte read the Quran as if was Machiavelli’s Prince, thought that the only way to explain Islamic conquests was to read the Quran in a political manner. Even considered becoming a Caliph, influenced the Quranic interpretation more than scholars.

On this day, we remember the King Mohammed V for his refusal to hand over Moroccan Jews to the Nazi & French Vichy regime. At the time Morocco was under French protectorate & was under immense pressure. “There aren’t any Muslims or Jews here, there are only Moroccans”, he said.

Chomsky also tried to rehabilitate Hezbollah’s legacy as legitimate. He even went to visit a leader in Lebanon in 2010. Reminder that until 09/11 attacks Hezbollah was responsible for more American deaths than any other terrorist organization.
