Some my earliest memories of reading was sitting down with a copy of The Mouse and his Motorcycle. Beverly Cleary wrote some of my favorites children’s books and I’ve enjoyed sharing them with my kids. Sad to hear she passed away.

Got the news last night Cain winery burned in the glass fire. It was one of my favorites and a place I went for retreat right after my father passed a few years ago. Unfortunately it’s just one of the many wineries that have suffered loss during this devastating fire season.
