I genuinely believe there’s something wrong with you if you don’t feel your soul is torn apart when you learn what’s happened to Laura. Yes, there are lots of hilarious moments in Twin Peaks. But there’s this gut-wrenching sadness too. And it touches your soul, if you have one.
I was talking to someone romantically and we tried to watch Twin Peaks together but she wasn’t taking it seriously at all and kept laughing at Laura’s mother so I stopped talking to her completely.

These are some of my favourite set pics of all DW. They kinda are what you think about when you think about this show.
1/3 I can’t think of any reason why people don’t talk more about Fury from the Deep other than it being a lost serial. But even considering that, it still deserves more recognition. It’s basically a perfect showcase of what Second Doctor era does best.

Not to sound too dramatic, but I’ve watched Dog Day Afternoon and I think it has changed my life. Can’t stop thinking about it. It’s the rarest kind of a movie that transcends its cinematic form to become something more. Makes you feel devastated, yet grateful.

2/3 Tight base under siege story with great secondary characters, moments of suspense and drama. Good exit for Victoria which is a lot for DW. It also foreshadows the next era in many aspects. It feels like a spiritual prequel to Inferno.

The best feeling ever is when you watch a movie and suddenly realise that you need to show it to your favourite person in the world asap. And when you do, you enjoy their reaction to all the moments that you’ve enjoyed and that made you realise that you should watch it together.

Imagine trying to PROVE that the era of the show you hate is bad by suggesting to watch someone else’s video on it. How about supporting your opinion in your own words and not showing up in people’s replies shitting on something they liked.

The Phoenician Scheme is a great reminder of why reducing Wes Anderson’s films to aesthetic is wrong. Visually, it’s his quirkiest. Thematically, it’s a parable about one man’s quest for a meaning of life.
