So something happened on Sunday and I wasn't sure to tell anybody because I knew I would get negative comments about it being too early and just told my mom and my best friend, but I'm so happy and my now fiancé said he doesn't mind it when I post it :) I'm engaged 💍

Es ist halt einfach ein 3 jähriges Kind??? Denkt die Ärztin, dass das kleine Mädchen schon so offen und fließend sprechen kann wie ein 18 jähriges?
I‘m so excited for my new job. ✨ I will start as a Freelance Travel Guide soon. I studied Japanese studies only for that reason. I’ve wanted to be a travel guide for so long! 🤎
I asked my mom to bring me SOME snacks from Germany but she bought me 30 kgs of snacks. 😂 This is nog all because she kept on having me more snacks from the suitcases. I have 3 whole 1 kg glasses of Nutella. Also a lot of soap and bath bubbles from Germany. 😂🙏🏻✨
I always think my Japanese is still beginner level but just now I had a phone call in Japanese with the bank because my visa is going to expire by the end of the month. I could explain that I renewed my visa last week and I’m waiting for the new one. 😭

Can someone please explain why Japanese people would rather use a 扇風機 (fan) instead of the AC?? I don’t want warm air blown into my face. I still sweat like crazy and I can’t sleep with constant wind in my face. 😳
Today we visited the new house and see it from the inside. ✨ I’m quite happy that we won’t have a bigger house because the space we will have is plenty and the neighbourhood is A+. 🤎 Next visit is in march and then we will see the kitchen and bathroom + toilets. 🥰
Happy 2nd Anniversary. 🤎 Time flies when we‘re together and we achieved so much in the past years! I’m looking forward to the next years together with you! ✨
I‘m so excited and happy to be a tour guide now. I get so many job offers and I’m like „MONEY!!!!“. 🍀 Can‘t believe that I’ve studied Japanese studies for 3 1/2 years for exactly this reason! And thankfully tourism is back. 😭✨
It’s official, we bought a house. ❤️ The construction will start at the end of summer or early fall and hopefully we can move in next year around July. ✨
Y’all, my husband and I are lying on the floor in our new house and we can already feel the difference between our old and new house 100%. 😂😂😂 This insulation ✨✨✨ no cold air is coming inside even though it’s SO WINDY outside!!!
Also bonus pictures from the cats. 🤎
Update on my wish for a child: my other blood test came back and the doctor said my results and hormones are looking good and I can get pregnant. ✨ The doctor may give me a shot for my ovulation next month. ☺️
One year ago I arrived in Tokyo, fell in love with the country and knew I never ever wanted to leave again 🌆 but now one year later I’m 100% sure about studying Japanese to fulfill my dream about going back!
On our way to pick up my family and the cats. 🥺 I still can’t believe it. I’m so excited to show my family the country I’ve loved since I was a kid. And I can finally cuddle my cats after 9 months. 😭💕
Jin has been such a good boy lately, I really can’t express my love for my cats… 😭💖 Today we took a small お散歩 to our nearest shrine! This boy is now 6 years old, it was his birthday yesterday. 🥰
4th try of IUI failed. Thinking about doing IVF as I clearly can’t conceive with IUI. I know I should be positive but all I can think about is if I will ever be able to have children… I’m so depressed and frustrated and everywhere I look I see babies and pregnant women…
I wasn‘t sure if I should talk openly about this but I feel like a lot of women are going through fertility issues and don’t want to talk about it. A few weeks ago a begun my journey as I have only as many eggs as a 37 year old woman left. I also have a small thyroid deficiency.
I took a small walk during my lunch break to a nearby Sakura park. ✨ Definitely worth it!! Now I’m happy and not all too sad about the weather on the weekend. 😌
IVF update:
Had a blood test today, she measured 8 eggs, hopefully it’ll be more by the time they‘ll take my eggs out. Hormones are ok but not enough, so I have to take more shots and medication. But I’m positive. ✨
I love my father in law, he sends us local food like rice, nori and fish from Miyagi every 2-3 weeks. 🥺 he‘s always like „I tried this last week and I want you two to try it too and tell me how you like it“ 😂 yesterday we tried out the unagi he send us. 💓
Furisode✨The mother of my husbands childhood friend is a kimono teacher and she wanted to dress me up today. 🥺 Furisode is commonly worn by women on their „Coming of Age“ Day. Before WW2 it signified the end to a woman's single youth and the beginning of her married life. ☺️
One year ago I moved back to Japan. 😭 Time flew by so fast and I’m happy I’m still here! To many more years. ✨ So excited for 2023, new memories and adventures, new house, new neighbourhood and hopefully some baby news! 🤰🏻🏡
So excited for my first Sakura here in Japan. 💓 We’ll go on a little honeymoon/ 1st anniversary trip to Kyoto in March and the forecast says sakura will be in full bloom. 🥺🥺
It’s finished. 🤎 We will see the house next week one last time before getting the keys. ✨Not sure what I’m looking forward to the most. I really like our kitchen, it’s such a big „glow up“ compared to our current kitchen. 🤣

My husband started to get information about buying/building a house here in Japan because that’s his next „goal“ for the future. And I saw this house and I like it? I‘m not much of a fan of big gardens but this rooftop terrace/garden is such a nice idea? 🧐🥺
Yesterday I smelled Sakura for the first time and I was really surprise that the Sakura flavour is not a fake at all!! I always thought it was fake but now I’m drinking my Sakura green tea and I’m like “wow this is how Sakura really smells!” 😂
@ChiYobox
They’re making it difficult to even get pregnant. 🥲 Some people I know got asked when they applied for a job if they are married and plan on having children….
Visited the Sakura Jingu (桜神宮) with
@yuukeeey
today ✧*。
It was very windy, but warm in the sun.
All visitors enjoyed the blooming kawazuzakura and took pictures.
There were many people lining up for the special sakura goshuin. (*’ヮ’*)
The kimonos my mother-in-law has worn 30-40 years ago. 👘 She wanted to give me more but we visited by train and it was too heavy to carry everything. 🥹 (see below for the obis!)
It’s been two years since the day you’ve asked me to be your girlfriend and now we’re married! It already feels like 10 years. 🥰 Here’s to another year full of adventures and happiness with you!
It‘s been one year,
#Tokyo
❤️ ... I‘m missing you so so much and working hard to be back for a whole year, next year! I‘m super homesick and emotional but I know, I can make it happen!
