We flipped the switch today for the first time on our 450hp pump that takes floodwater off the Kings River, 70,000 gpm, and will help prevent flooding downstream. The water will be put on our fields and recharge the aquifer. A real win for the Kings Sub-basin.

Metropolitan’s Board declared a Regional Drought Emergency for all of #SoCal, calling upon water agencies to immediately reduce use of all imported supplies. The water-saving call could become mandatory if drought conditions persist in the coming months.

We are aware of E.Coli samples present in the water supply for parts of West Baltimore and are working with @BaltimoreDPW to resolve this issue. Residents are advised to boil water for at least 1 minute before use. Do not drink or come into direct contact with contaminated water.
