even though only 1 thing went bad, that we can assume *could* have potentially happened as the result of some mistake or scheduling issue or something, we know its over with just that, because the idealistic illusion is broken irreparably. its also just some good pages.

i think, to me the thing that hit me the hardest, maybe out of personal resonance, was her expressing her grief to her friends and family through the lens of another issue, being too afraid and embarrassed to admit to it. them being so caring almost makes it worse.

chapter 4 despite being so early on, because the setup in the previous chapters, is so effective. this "older sister" character (in a class s way) is meant to be this supportive net, even though its invisible. to see it not be that even once is enough to break the illusion of it-

yet unwillingness to act out of the image kasumi thinks she's given her i think embodies a lot of the feelings and anxieties in real developing love.

the emotions. showing kasumi treat her as a sort of supporting idealistic force surrounding her because she can only exist as text, but also feeling her influence so much stronger from the brooch sorta hit me in a weird way. this desire for all of her thoughts to be accepted-

chapter 3 i think does exceptionally well in something a lot of yuri manga, especially since i am so used to them, sorta fail to do in showing what being in love *feels* like, more than looks like. i think on account of it just being through letters, it cant help but be about-

saying this right before i read the most recent 2 chapters of dear flowers that bloom in the days of yore (only out of 4!) was really bad timing. its not so especially unique, but somehow i have a lot to say about it anyways.

maybe the world of novels is more diverse. but i havent heard of much in that field eitherr.

its lame cause incest yuri isnt even that commonn. psuedo-incest or class s type shit is, but sister stuff is usually less common than even age gap from my experience.

really, i havent found a new manga to reach anywhere close to my top favs in quite a whilee. i dont really read yuri, or other manga, to enjoy the average one, but to find the outliers that mean something to me, so not finding one in a while is demoralizing~.

if i spent the time i spend on twitter towards reading yuri, i could improve my productivity by 2, nay, 3 times.

ive heard pretty definitively the light novel is better than the anime, but i do very much miss the visual style of shaft's animation for NisioisiN works and all the clips ive seen match that, so maybe ill check it out now.
