I met @Benaskren at a camp when I was 10, he helped introduce scrambling to me, and he stayed after to help me because I had more questions to ask him about what he was teaching, he’s an awesome dude.
One reason @Benaskren is real deal. he is in Fargo coaching his wrestlers within days of an unfortunate weekend. That’s real and the reason him and many wrestlers will always be champions in life. Much respect.

Ok to explain the John/Yianni thing.*.My parents were going to name me Yianni after my papou (grandpa) but instead named me John (sounds more normal, & Yianni is John in Greek so it’s the same name kinda). But when I was born they called me Yianni my whole life so here we are now.

In 2015 Takuto Otoguro was on my flight home from Bosnia for cadet worlds. We won gold at 54kg and 58kg. 3 years later he is the senior world champion at 65kg. Next year I will be ready

Last year people complained about there not being enough seating, now the arena’s too big. The National Tournament is such a big show the NCAA is going to do a good job to make it fan friendly & make sure everyone can watch the wrestling from every seat. Let’s see how it goes.
