This year, we planted over 100k acres of habitat through our partnership with the USDA. And we stewarded over 19k acres of farmland to achieve Bee Better Certification—ensuring they provide healthy habitat for pollinators. Help us do even more in 2025!💖🐝

The EPA must, by law, ensure that pesticides don’t have “unreasonable adverse impacts” on the environment. The decline of monarchs & other native pollinators are clear evidence that the current system is NOT working. Read the full press release & petition➡️

Pesticides are a major reason so many native bees, butterflies, & other pollinators are in serious trouble. So why does the EPA only consider risks to honey bees when approving pesticides for sale?.Today, @earthjustice & Xerces delivered a petition calling on the EPA to fix this.

Unlike many conservation groups, Xerces doesn't take funding from pesticide (or fossil fuel) companies. We won't be a part of greenwashing. This year, we stopped insecticide sprays on 8+ million acres of public land. If you can, help us keep going in 2025!

.@USFWS has proposed to designate 1,635,746 acres of land as critical habitat for the rusty patched bumble bee! This prohibits any habitat damage or destruction from any federally funded or permitted activities, and is a great step towards recovery! 🐝
