With beautiful data now displaying (and dates formatted nicely!), the stage is set. Next up: building out the functionality to create top-level comments and replies directly from the frontend using React Query's useMutation. Stay tuned!

After cracking the post comments, I implemented the entire comment fetching and display for my Documents section! 🎉 This really validated the patterns I'm building. Reusability for the win! #FullstackDev #CodingJourney.

Solved it with React Query's power! Used useQuery inside each PostCard to fetch comments for that specific post. This keeps things efficient! Also, fixed those pesky "unique key" warnings and even added a neat frontend helper to count all nested comments.

Then the challenge: displaying nested comments for each post! My backend serves comments polymorphically (meaning they can belong to posts OR documents!) and as a nested tree. This meant a new approach to data fetching. #JavaScript #MongoDB.

Last time, I got posts showing. This week, I focused on making data fetching even smoother with #ReactQuery's staleTime. Learned how isFetching gives users instant feedback when data's updating in the background without annoying full loading screens.

With the frontend now complete, the next phase of the project is to integrate the UI with the backend logic and database. I am looking forward to this next stage of development.

This progress was made possible using a modern tech stack, including React for the component architecture and Tailwind CSS for utility-first styling.

Following that, I developed the documents section. The use of reusable components in React allowed for rapid development, ensuring a consistent design and a seamless user experience across the application.

The posts section was a key milestone. I successfully implemented a system for nested comments, utilizing a recursive Comment component to handle the hierarchy and visual structure efficiently.

I have made significant progress on the frontend development for my full-stack application which i mentioned in my last tweet. The core UI, from a blank canvas to a functional interface, is now complete.

There are no new ideas, only unthinkable combinations waiting for the right technology to make them inevitable. The real genius isn't thinking of 'it,' but seeing 'what if' the pieces finally fit.
