Between April 29 and April 30, 2024, the Winnipeg Police Service’s General Patrol Units, with the assistance of the Auxillary Force Cadet Unit, attended multiple weapons-related calls involving knives and a hatchet.

Yesterday, officers responded to the report of a person struck by a train on Pembina Hwy. A 16-year-old sustained life-altering injuries. WPS and C.N. Police continue to investigate, and the incident appears accidental.
