I’ve never seen an official government social media be so… un government like. ICE is getting more resources and more officers. Trucks are the least of our worries.
ICE used your taxpayer dollars to trick out a bunch of trucks in new livery, all painted black with "ICE" and a logo printed in gold on the side (and Trump's name in gold on the back window), then shoot a rap video in DC to post on social media. I am not making this up.

I have to ask my in-laws about African migrants in southeast KY/SWVA. It doesn’t surprise me, I’ve heard conversations about how soft the young men growing up there are now. And the DL culture too. It’s not shocking an Ugandan women can outwork locals.
Never thought I’d live to see the day in southeastern Kentucky and southwest Virginia where women from Uganda are on strip jobs and construction sites, translating every single thing on their phones… while local women apparently can’t qualify. But hey, I’m sure it’s purely merit.

Before meeting my Appalachian wife, I was a big city Chicagoan with the same mindset as these people regarding grocery stores. In rural America stores aren’t usually close by, no public bus or train. People didn’t complain, they made due with what they had.

The irony is that people like Charlie Kirk and others in the conservative sphere are trying to help President Trump denounce Operation Warp Speed by bashing the Covid plan. Trump is proud of the rollout which I’m sure frustrates conservative influencers.
Charlie Kirk, on CNBC this morning, sounded like a man who forgot who was actually president during COVID. Funny how his outrage never quite lands on Trump — the guy who ran Operation Warp Speed, pushed the shutdowns, and was at the helm the whole time.

Part of the black flight out of Chicago which I am part, is due to decades of the magic jobs program, community center, basketball court that were going to solve the violence issue in the community. We can’t arrest our way, accountability matters.
Jobs programs, school funding, city-owned grocery stores, vocational training, and community centers don't fix what is captured here. The only government intervention which can solve this is arrest, criminal charges, and imposing a punishment.
