Playing in the Peach Bowl is a damn better option than not playing at all.

Seeing more teams decline bowl invites is a disturbing trend. If you’re building a program, why skip reps that players can’t replace? Those extra practices and live snaps are development. Turning down growth opportunities makes zero sense.

Wisconsin has never solved its QB problem. No one reasonably expects Ohio State, USC, or even BYU production, but North Dakota State has sent more quarterbacks to the NFL. It’s been the missing piece for years, and for Fickell’s future never matters more than next season.
