People in the program acting super surprised a defensive coordinator isn’t being retained after taking a top 5 defense in CFB talent wise and giving up 42 to UCLA and 36 to Rutgers during a 6-6 season will never not be funny to me. Like what standard are we setting here.

i’m sure cliff is a good person. he shouldn’t have been paid like one of the top players on the team. just because you’re on the team for 4 years doesn’t mean you should be making money like the top dawgs.

this is unfortunately the problem. this mentality. liam clifford has never show any flashes of being worth anything close to the reported numbers. and i’m not here to bash the guy. most teams pay 65 guys. we were paying 100. that’s why things ended the way they did.
Yall do realize that Liam had to go through the SAME process, training, and everything in between as well right? Like I get it he didn’t produce as much as you would like on the field but he was still apart of the team…. In addition to not getting as many NIL opportunities as

I really liked James Franklin, and am sad it didn’t work out. But it really frustrates me to hear that the fans put their OWN NIL money in for him to pay everyone on the roster instead of make us a contender. 500k to Liam Clifford is also fireable.

One of my biggest takeaways from the leaked audio: Not having a GM, and allowing Franklin to run NIL clearly caused some issues He wanted to pay everyone good money, even role players, and you just can’t do that. Players clearly felt some type of way about it too

I think it's about time some of us speak out on these two publicly. I'll bite. Jay Paterno and Anthony Lubrano have been damaging the Penn State community from within for years now. It's time for them to back their bags & leave State College.
