Big Table Farm 2022 PN Willamette: I receive bottles like this one occasionally & that makes me very happy. Crushed rose petal, strawberry skins, cranberry juice, a little bit of cola and humus, then some exotic spices drifting like incense. Simply put, it's a pleasure to drink.

Denver airport just keeps getting more chaotic. Passing through it is fine; stopping there is a mess: nonexistent signage, they hide your boxes and don’t tell you where to look, sometime they’re with skis and sometimes not. Again, no signage. Takes forever; be forewarned.

Mike Chelini of Stony Hill was one of the earliest North American masters of Chardonnay and, for 47 vintages, Mike held the flame aloft. Stony Hill makes as great a Chardonnay as any in the U.S., I think it's fair to say. We have Mike to thank for that. Here's to his memory.
