This is deeply personal to me. My dad, a combat pilot in two wars, spent more than 2 decades trying to prove that his extreme hearing loss was related to his military service. Why should vets have to fight the very government they served?
Holy shit. Rand Paul just said he opposes health care for veterans because they can’t prove they got their health problems while serving.

That’s funny- my Dad had severe hearing loss and the audiologist asked if he was in the service (yes, Army, 20yrs). Guess it’s common!

I oppose paying for the medical care of any member of Congress who opposes raising money to pay for the medical care of veterans. I'd happily extend that to "everyone" because, though a veteran, I believe that the health of the nation matters to everyone.
