My stepdad @ChrisGPackham has bared the brunt of obsessive bullies who’ve burnt down his gates, thrown dead animals into his garden + sent death threats. They spread lies and hate because he stands up for wildlife. I stand by him wholeheartedly Pls share https://t.co/koUmfVRCRg

I'm a friend & work colleague of Chris Packham, raising funds to help support his libel action against Fieldsports Channel Ltd.

A personal message about the dire effects of online abuse and the need to strengthen laws to better protect ourselves from dangerous hate terrorism . My friend @RuthTingay , a victim herself due to her work with @RaptorPersUK has kindly set up https://t.co/gBo1SZc9Tz

Two chiffchaff and a blackcap singing at @fairlandsbirds this morning also two collared dove, one on climbing frame at main lake and the other at north end of environment lake. I believe they are quite scarce here.

I'm live now with @AngelaRayner of @UKLabour as I continue my series of live shorts with change-makers and politicians talking about the issue of raptor persecution on our uplands. Take action for our hen harriers now → https://t.co/idqDqj03tk

I don't agree with Chris Sutton's comment on Spurs being a mid table team. We are normally an attacking side that is top 6 but we have a cautious manager that's changing our style and its affected our game this season. #bbcfootball

Totally accurate. Thank you @ChrisGPackham for being our spokesperson. Your presence makes me happy, your words make me sad for they are too often about failing to learn the lessons we are taught by the world itself. Keep campaigning. Thanks.

a real pleasure to welcome @Kaulofthewilduk @GayatriKaul2 @AryanKaul6 to New Cross Gate Cutting @WildLondon yesterday, the northern tip of one of London's best wild railside corridors; a wonderful hour spent and Kabir testing my ecological wits - looking forward to a next time

The government may "talk the talk" on the #ClimateEmergency, but what has it actually been doing. @friends_earth has been investigating one aspect, for #NationalTreeWeek

The UK Government spent almost £20m less on tree planting in the financial year 2017-18 than it did in 2014-15, according to an analysis of official figures by Friends of the Earth (FotE).

@Morrisons This has been like this for over a week at the Welwyn Garden City recycling centre. Can we have cctv installed and start prosecuting individuals that dump their so called recycling. This is disgusting. It is fly-tipping.

The white willow Salix alba named because of its silvery white haired leaves is not so common these days in London. This one is quite young and grows next to the pond at Gutteridge Wood. @WildLondon

Return of the rare. After many years of absence on LWT's Yeading Brook Meadows a single narrow-leaved water dropwort plant has returned. This nationally rare species favours traditional flood plain meadows and recent enhancement work has clearly helped it to return. @wildlondon
