wow. this is the actual page where cops can go to request Ring camera footage from Amazon without a warrant or the camera owner's consent. it has a big "submit emergency request" button. when you click that button it takes you to a form. it's so clear how easily abused this is

Meanwhile, I can't remember if I read the book I'm staring at on my kindle.
I once got to meet Umberto Eco—who was very memorable. But this film clip of him tracking down a book in his personal library makes him seem all the more impressive.
