The Gender Matters Taskforce and @ScreenAustralia today announced two key initiatives for 2021 aimed at supporting women and gender diverse practitioners in the screen industry:

Judy Irola, who in 1995 was the 3rd woman invited to join the American Society of Cinematographers, has sadly passed due to complications from COVID. Judy was an educator, firebrand, and adamant that the ASC recruit more women. "There are women out there who need to be included."
