This was an ongoing argument among my peers when I was a young engineer. One school of thought is the manager needed to know the job so he could tell if he was being bullshitted. But I found a way to do that without knowing the discipline, and I couldn't do any of their jobs.

You just need to make sure you’re not caught with both passports in your possession by American authorities, which isn’t that hard to do unless you’re very unlucky. People used to do this all the time before the US allowed dual citizenship.

Banning dual citizenship doesn’t really work practically. A Brit would renounces his citizenship, get a US passport, and then simply apply for another British passport. The British authorities would understand exactly what occurred, as this has been going on for decades.

I had old school Russian nurses in a Sakhalin hospital with peeling paint and an asbestos roof find the vein without even breaking conversation. Whatever people calling themselves NHS nurses are these days, they are not nurses.
