After living here in Moscow, ID for nearly six years, my wife and I have soberly come to the conviction that we can no longer remain silent regarding the ministry and influence of Doug Wilson, a local pastor who garners a national, if not international following. (1/4)
We do not hate Doug Wilson or his followers, but rather it is out of love for them and others who have been harmed by his teachings, that we feel that it is necessary to take this stand. We appreciate your prayers—that the truth would be heard, and that God would be glorified.
It is with a heavy heart that we will be launching a blog detailing the reasons we have come to believe that Doug Wilson teaches a distorted gospel and does not meet the requirements set in Scripture for the position of elder. If you are so inclined, (2/4)

We never attended a CREC church but our kids went to Logos for a time. Our exposure is based more on living here and interacting with those who have left as well as my own in-depth study into his theology, including meeting with Doug in that process.

You kinda are talking about Hohn though...
But you really should consider more deeply his testimony and other members of Grace Church. "A rebuke goes deeper into one who has understanding Than a hundred blows into a fool." Proverbs 17:10

Because I wish it wasn't neccesary. It greives me, but I believe it to be the right thing to do.
“Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith...” (Jude 3, ESV)

I have brought this to Doug personally. But I don't think that was required by Scripture. As Kevin DeYoung observed: "There’s nothing to suggest Paul sat down to talk with Demas (2 Tim. 4:20), Hymenaeus and Philetus (2 Tim. 3:17), or Hymenaeus and Alexander (1 Tim. 1:20)."

Maybe it would be good to make your tweet a bit more specific then? People are getting the wrong idea apparently (not just me, just look at all the replies - most are about Hohn's testimony).
I've been trying to get Khmer text to work correctly in Adobe InDesign ever since it broke in CS6 (it was working in CS 5.5). Here's the latest response I got from Adobe. You can't make this stuff up. 🤣

are your shoes only supposed to last for four months? That’s how long the ones I bought for my kid did before there was a hole and major wear on the soles…

Doug is of course welcome to interact. I also met with him personally, once for clarification, and then another time to confront him on what I believe to be error. Not aiming to make these hit pieces, seeking to be truthful and honoring to God in all things.
