The robust and Ca2+ activity is visible using a GCaMP6 variant that is tethered to the outer surface of the ER. So much is happening there. Can’t wait to find out what it does.

We found that perineurial knockdown of dStim, acting in the Store-Operated Calcium Entry pathway (SOCE) leads to severe seizures.
