Great game of #dnd using Swords & Wizardry rules today! Party descended into the 2nd level of the Temple of the Frog to face Tsathoggua cultists in the swamp outside Blackmoor. One dead PC from an explosive runes trap but otherwise a successful foray! Next - Blackmoor Castle!

Oof. Got the mansion primed with a base coat of gray paint. It took a total of 4 rattle cans of gray primer for everything plus a bit of brown for the three dozen doors. Hoping to have some paint applied before a big #dnd Halloween haunted house adventure!

D&D - 0E, 1E, 5E, whatever - is still a fantastic way to spend time with friends and family, slinging dice, cracking jokes, and playing heroes. All TTRPGs can invoke this sense but for me D&D hits the special sauce of approachability and engagement I crave in a game. CAN’T WAIT!

Getting PUMPED for my 50th anniversary #dnd game tomorrow! We’re using the Swords & Wizardry rule set which does a fantastic job of packaging the OD&D rules. And I’m running my take on Blackmoor and Temple of the Frog. Pics coming tomorrow as I’ve got a lot of terrain and minis!

Been getting into Age of Sigmar lately, and I picked up Trugg’s Troggherd. Bulked out the troggoths with 3d printed fellwater troggoths and a few extra rockgut troggoths. Got them all painted up, not based yet, but I think they’re looking fantastic! #aos #speedpaints
