New #JeffersonResearch from @haeuslerlab finds that a crowded molecular environment can influence the DNA structures formed by mutations in the C9orf72 gene. The study provides new drug targets to treat neurodegenerative diseases like ALS that are linked to the C9orf72 mutation.
