Seattle created SODA zones (stay out of drug areas) that would give @SeattlePD tools to arrest for priors. An unintended outcome is Blanchard Street which is sandwiched between the two zones creating our own “Hamsterdam” with prolific drug scenes and now an empty building that’s

Thank you @Twolfrecovery for showing the world that recovery is possible. We use our platform to host clean and sober events for people in recovery or still struggling. The act of trash collection gives us a chance to meet people where they are but not leave them there. It’s a
We ❤️ Seattle does what our government should. They get the homeless off the street into shelter, or detox while picking up thousands of pounds of garbage. I believe in their work so much, I joined their board. Please consider donating as the year ends.

A clean city is a safer city. Today we cleared out 80 bags of garbage and bulky items from forgotten Mt. Baker neighborhood of Seattle. Volunteering is how we vote for the backyard we want to live. Thank you volunteers.

Effective Immediately deploy outreach teams with police, EMTs, and treatment triage specialists that offer pathways to self-sufficiency by partnering with recovery housing providers.
Despite WA homelessness growing 80% since 2012 under wasteful & controversial "Housing First" policies, local Democrats file lawsuit to keep doing the same thing WE MUST focus on effective addiction/mental health treatment or the suffering will continue https://t.co/WdK1RnsZK6

What a great tool for public safety! Hopefully @wilsonformayor keeps the cameras we have and add more. @Flock_Safety is solving crimes and deterring crime.
San Francisco started using drones and surveillance cameras last year to combat car break ins and look what happened. It turns out law enforcement works as a deterrent. All those defund the police clowns are awfully quiet now.

Steps from West Seattle Recycle center are these wire stripping scenes. These crimes fuel the drug market. It’s often happening in broad daylight. I am sorry for the families who are traumatized by this all time low.
You may have heard that WA is #1 for Copper Theft in the US. But did you know other metals are targets of thieves as well? A cemetery in Sumner is finding this out the hard way, as thieves steal people's gravestones. Frank Lenzi | @Mynorthwest Article: https://t.co/r46j2D2c4M

My H/T on work place safety for our Seattle Parks and Recreation Staff being subjected to narcotic dealing, and use. Where is HR?
NEW: After dozens of neighbor complaints about homeless drug addicts destroying Seattle's Dr. Jose Rizal Park, the fencing is back up and major renovations are about to get started. But We Heart Seattle's Andrea Suarez says the dealers and addicts are now moving further into

The Minnesota fraud isn’t a local Minnesota story. It’s a Progressive governance story. It needed these elements: - Unaccountable NGO’s - Identity-based politics - Cozy activist groups with politicians - An incurious press - Weaponized empathy - Lack of respect for public

Seattle Parks rented out MOHAI tonight, is bringing in catering, live music and ceremonies to grant the Denny Award to four winners who do good things in parks. We apply every year and no-dice.
This is mental. Seattle taxes citizens up the you-know-what for parks, then turns around and charges a Little League SIX FIGURES for kids to play ball in derelict parks.

An alarm I have been sounding since first discovering people have hotels, tiny houses and even apartments but still keep their tent active on sidewalks or parks. Here again “Red” admits the @seattletimes he has a tiny home and still operates out of a tent to “hang out” and so
In October, Seattle opened $72 million in waterfront road upgrades to include significant bike lane expansion. Seattle reports more than 2000 bikes stolen annually. I took @alexfryer7 on a tour of some camps and here is his personal story and the facts we learned about the stolen
