Confidence in your faith doesn’t mean proving you’re right—it means living in a way that shows others it’s worth it.

Patrick Morley noticed there are two types of guys in church . “The men who read the book chapter we study before they come to our small group are growing, and those who don’t read it are stagnant. The stagnant ones just can’t understand why their lives are not .changing.”.

The Cadence of Pain. It is not pain that should be feared but numbness. Pain is a merciful messenger of God that things are not good. yet.

Lincoln was no abolitionist, which frustrated the heck out of those in the North that were. Nor was he pro-slavery, which enraged the South. Maybe the mark of true Leadership in difficult times is that just about everybody is equally pissed off at you but you still accomplish.

Why does it hurt more when our Fathers were absent, passively disengaged or unreliable than than anyone else?. Because we were made for our Heavenly Father’s love. #Fatherhood #FathersDay.

Jesus never recruited volunteers - He called disciples & He sent apostles (aka missionaries). You don’t serve at church - You are the church engaged in the mission of God. Big mindset shift from serving at food bank, united way or your kids school.
