The Ladybirds have been learning about WW2 and comparing the lives of children during the war 80 years ago with today. Comparisons we noted were masks, queuing to shop, rationing of items, limited travel, curfews and unable to see family.

The safety officers in the owl room this week have been making sure everyone is staying safe indoors and out. We also made a home for sparkles our rights respecting dinosaur. He can now see all of the children and we are enjoying learning about our rights.

Last week the children created their own recipes. This week we are making them come to life! First up was ‘Emma pasta’ created by Finn and Phoebe. A delicious healthy pasta dish. Everyone gave this dish a big thumbs up👍.
