Drs. Nilesh and Mona Dave recently hosted a “Walk and Eat with a Doc” event in Dallas. In addition to a walk, the event included a discussion on fiber and a whole-food, plant-based tastingWhat a fun way to not only walk, but learn, connect, and enjoy a healthy snack together!

"Health doesn’t have to be complicated. Just an hour spent walking, talking, and learning together can have a meaningful impact on our well-being. At its core, Walk with a Doc is about connection: to our health, to nature, and to each other." - Junnel Tom Japzon, MD (Philippines)

A new study in @TheLancetPH shows that just 7,000 steps per day has many meaningful benefits, including lower risks of heart disease, cancer mortality, dementia, diabetes, depression, and falls. That's right- walking for health is more achievable than ever. Every step counts!

Earlier this year, a woman attended one of Dr. Nick Johnstone's weekly Walk with a Doc events in Lancaster, UK. She was expecting a nice stroll and a bit of health advice. What she didn’t expect was to recognize a childhood friend that she hadn't seen in over 40 years!
