I was Zapier’s first customer. How they sold me should be taught in every business school. 2011, I had the first paid subscription podcast and I wanted to send handwritten thank-you notes to buyers. But getting their addresses out of PayPal was a pain in the butt. So I went to

The AI market is crazy bullish right now. But incremental gains are hitting a wall. I was just on the @Belkinsio Podcast and Michael Maximoff asked what disappointed me most about LLMs this year. It’s really that there’s only been two fundamental breakthroughs since 2017: -

In 2000, the S&P 500 had an elevated trailing P/E of 26, well above its long-term avg. of 14. For the next 11 years, the S&P 500 delivered zero returns! The current S&P 500 trailing P/E is 30 – even higher than 2000. History rhymes. For standardized performance visit our website.

$RIME went from karaoke to AI logistics. SemiCab: 450+ trucks, multi-million $ contracts, Apex SaaS for the $450B US freight market. Q3 rev +1,273% YoY. PT around $5 vs ~$1s. Tiny microcap, huge optionality. Not financial advice. Do your own research.

One of my favorite lessons I’ve learnt from working with smart people: Action produces information. If you’re unsure of what to do, just do anything, even if it’s the wrong thing. This will give you information about what you should actually be doing. Sounds simple on the

The willingness to just produce a constant application of force in all aspects of your work for years on end is as predictive of success as any particular skill or talent. The fact that this is often tiring, monotonous, and uncomfortable is why not everyone can do it.

We overrate AI for helping with existing processes. We underrate it for solving new problems. Story from my pod with Ben Kus: A @Box customer had millions of old client files they couldn’t afford to audit. AI classified everything (file types, IDs, key data) in days.
