Your annual reminder that the ahlul bayt were theologically the people of sunnah, they were lovers of the sahabah, and defended the honour of the mothers of the believers (who were also from among the ahlul bayt).

This phenomenon is a subcontinent thing, not a Muslim thing. Desi Muslims may have left Hinduism but more effort is needed to erase the mental caste systems they are accustomed to.
