@ilovejaneway @77Macb before that adoption could happen, that 12 yo must first carry a child and endure pregnancy while at school and be daily forced to remember what happened while also being judged by others who don't know. Suggesting adoption is deeply insensitive.

A testimony: my wife was dying in hospital. She was going to have surgery with a 30% death rate to have a chance of survival. Thousands ended up praying, most via twitter. The doctor said he didn't know why her pancreas started healing by itself. But I knew. Alleluia 🙏

Christians are cautious of stories of people who leave because of trauma, citing personal experience does not discredit belief. Yet they are affirming of conversion stories that include trauma that leads a person to belief. This double standard is frustrating. #exchristian

This makes me sad. It indicates that even moderate religion imposes undue stress and trauma onto people. It's traps them into never being content with who they are. This is a driver of poor mental health. There is freedom and wellbeing outside religion.
