Here is my recent essay for @TGC. Thanks to @DrGladd for the opportunity. This is part of a larger project on "The Great King of David." Also, I forgot the theme of ETS is Creedal Christology. I could have turned this into a potential paper! https://t.co/4d55ruOLuQ

An interpretive trajectory existed in the Old Testament that laid down a messianic momentum, leading to the logical conclusion the New Testament writers made regarding Jesus as both Lord (God) and...

I'm a big admirer of the work of Brent Strawn, and this podcast "In Parallel" has some beautiful thoughts about Hebrew poetry. This episode was especially powerful--on Psalm 88 https://t.co/z129XuJVsQ

Great book. Isn't there an OT version of this? If not, someone needs to write it!

I just received this book by Danny Olinger. For students of Dr. Kline, we know that the Book of Revelation was special to him. Every lecture started in the OT but ended in Revelation. So, this book will be a special way to understand his theology. Very excited to get into this!

This was an excellent lecture by @GraySutanto. His applications were insightful and encourages thoughtful evangelism.
My lecture on the Sense of the Divine, which summarizes and applies the main thesis of the book, is now up on the @RTSWashington @ReformTheoSem faculty podcast. Listen in 👇

I was saddened to learn of my mentor-pastor Allen Harris’s passing. He deeply influenced me and encouraged my call to ministry. "Thank you, dear Lord, for Pastor Allen Harris!"

After a brief hiatus, THE FACULTY PODCAST is back with a new series, "Dead Influencers," focusing on major historical figures who impacted biblical/theological studies. First up: G. W. F. Hegel. The faculty didn't like my proposed series name, "Necromancing" (violates Deut 18:11)
Is The Faculty Podcast dead? Was the summer of encore episodes a sign of decline? μὴ γένοιτο! We just started our 7th season! Check out our first episode on "Dead Influencers": Hegel. https://t.co/InSFDf9QyN Like and subscribe for future episodes with lots of guest stars.

Once again, some very helpful thoughts from @tommykeene on a literary-theological analysis of the NT texts. The Bible is Just so... Extra https://t.co/aG1bXsb26s via @tommykeene

I'll be teaching Genesis-Deuteronomy this fall at @RTSAtlanta. To all my Atlanta friends, I'd love to get together for coffee. Or even better, to visit your churches!

I'm excited to share the word this Sunday Aug 10 at Newcity church, pastored by a dear friend, Rev. Dr. Paul Jeon. I will be preaching from Leviticus 25. I'm not sure what excites me more--the fact that I'll be NewCity or that I will be preaching from Leviticus!

I share this with great joy and enthusiasm. Congratulations @GraySutanto! This is an important contribution to a huge theme of current theological discussions! Also, where is my autographed copy? 🤣
Glad to see this in print from @GraySutanto (@uoedivinity alumnus now at @ReformTheoSem @RTSWashington) from @CambridgeUP. An impressive example of constructive systematic theology in the Reformed tradition.

Here is an essay I wrote for the Carson Center of @TGC on Noah's ark. Thanks to @DrGladd for the opportunity to contribute to such a worthwhile ministry. https://t.co/RrzeVxYowU

The Genesis narrative presents the ark as a microcosm of creation, where the Creator dwelled with and ruled over his covenant people.

Guess what friends! I am a GRANDFATHER! My granddaughter, Sharon Joyce Lee, was born May 29! 9lbs 1oz! Her parents are doing well. I'm still trying to know how to put this experience into words! I hope to share pictures soon.

Wise words from @GraySutanto
Related: those seeking a PhD in theology should do so without looking at ministry as below them. Many who do, and dont end up getting acaremic jobs, tend to become embittered and vent their creative and frustrative energies online, and become anti-institutional. Don’t.
