Gemini 2.0 Flash is a decent contender to OpenAI's Realtime API. Voice controlling your computer has never been more effortless, and at a price tag of a whopping $0.00 per input & $0.00 per output, never more affordable!

every AI power user I talk to has some workflow hack they think is obvious eg: for me its voice. 10x faster for prompts than typing what's your "obvious" AI workflow that others should know about?

I think there's a good chance AI voice will end up being as big or bigger than AI text. A conversation is the precursor to decisions/actions for humans just as often as text, so it makes sense that this will be central for AI too.

OpenAI's new Realtime API is quite interesting. Pros: - Incredibly low latency - Increased control over response voice Cons: - Too expensive for everyday use - Seems to still be speech-to-text as opposed to audio modality - Fairly buggy (irrelevant responses) - Incorrect

@paulg So this mean the future of programming is about communicating intent instead of writing code line by line?
