Well, that’s me finished in education after thirty years. New fresh start on Monday (still with YP, but in a different role). Wish me luck for my first day nerves.

A woman who was killed in a crash in Derbyshire has been named by police. Tracey Meek, 44, was driving a Vauxhall Corsa when it was involved in a collision with a Land Rover Freelander on the B5023 between Idridgehay and Wirksworth. Read more:

Sometimes there is terrible sad news. I’m so sorry that we have lost a vibrant caring talented soul, but mostly I’m devastated for her daughter, grandson and family. She loved them with fierce pure joy.
