Aye the only downside to these optimizations is we lose the drop shadow feature. 🤔 We’ll implement some global settings and add a setting to disable the optimizations.

To put it in perspective… .I have an SVG file that, when imported into Vector Ink it crashes or moves incredibly slow. Now when I import it into our latest build, not only is it faster, I can duplicate the entire graphic 10 times and not experience any lag on the canvas 🦾.

The next Vector Ink update will be 10x better optimized for performance.
