What I love about Andor is how the show has three different mother/child relationships and how each influence and impact their child. Maarva and Cassian had a strained but loving relationship due to Cassian’s knack for getting into trouble, Eedy’s overbearingness over Syril,
said this under oomfs post a while back but it really is awful little parental star wars relationships focus on mothers or daughters. very little jedi have female padawans/masters, everyone has sons, or mothers die before they can form relationships with their children
