A year ago today @Felicity_Baker put me in a spitfire for a doc she produced and I presented about her grandmother Hazel Hill who helped design them. Tonight I put her on @BBCTheOneShow for the doc I produced and she presents about stammering. I’d say the fear levels were equal

Just polished up my favourite boots for first day of filming on a new telly project. I felt possessed by the ghost of my Granny Mac! Could almost hear her say ‘best foot forward’. Anyway, they’ve come up nice.

Took my mother to @curryspcworld to buy a new washing machine. She turns up (sans hearing aid) + armed with the brochure for her current @boschglobal machine bought in Jan 1997, the instruction manual + certificate of guarantee issued 24.5 years ago.🙈
