As consortium members, we are committed to guiding them through the next phase by equipping them with financial literacy skills and preparing them for what lies ahead, as the journey of full reparations is still unfolding.

We met the survivor petitioners in Petition 122 of 2013 with two priorities on the table: how the compensation money from the government will reach them and how to boost their psychosocial support as they continue this fight.

Justice Postponed, Again.

He based his request on earlier court orders that had directed the Inspector General to produce Baa in court.

Willis is seeking court permission to publish the image of Baa, the 11th suspect recently dropped from the charge sheet by the DPP, and is asking the court to order the police to release the photo so it can be shared with the public to help trace his whereabouts.

The ruling on two applications, the request to transfer the case to the High Court in Kisumu and Counsel Willis' (Victims advocate) application to publish the image of Mohamed Baa, will be delivered on 18 September 2025.

6. The appeal is still active. Four other survivors in the same case were left out because the court said the state wasn’t responsible. But the state failed to prevent, failed to protect, failed to investigate. We’re not done.
