every time i finally complete a sexual harassment training, after weeks of procrastinating and multiple nudges from my boss, it is inevitably time for another new sexual harassment training.

The wildest thing about that area is you can clearly see the effects of each party’s policies on the ground. Last time I visited, Asheville’s downtown was overrun with junkie zombies, but half an hour away the (red) cities are vigilantly policed and have clean, safe downtowns.

Perversely, even as standards are being discarded left and right, the most intensive editing is now directed at competent legacy writers who can’t put anything out without the ideological imprimatur of sensitivity readers who bully them into degrading and worsening their own work.
