We use Blacksmith (@useblacksmith) for CI. Big fan. Blacksmith costs $.004/minute; we run our backend suite around 1000 times a month. $.004 * 1000 * 12 / 60 = .8; every second we save on CI also saves us eighty cents a year. Yay for incentive alignment!

I have averaged ~1500 commits a year over the last 3 years. If I understand things correctly, if I start using AI instead of coding myself that will become at least 15,000 commits a year. Or 40 commits per day, every day of the year. If this is true then I am putting all my money

Switched to using @useblacksmith for our GitHub Actions builds a week ago. Avg build time: 5m 27s → 3m 42s 🤯 Onboarding was insanely smooth and their migration assistant made it effortless, easy plug n play. Rarely see dev tools with this kind of time to value + UX 🔥

tried @useblacksmith after @theo’s ad read - replaced a new GitHub Actions CD runner i'm working on and got a 2x speed-up 🔥 🐢 47 min (and timed out) → 🏎 22 min. didn't even have to do anything, just created an account and clicked 2 buttons
