The top 1 problem of my mindset is thinking everything is just some code. This doesn’t only oversimplify stuff, but make things uninteresting

I've been waiting to talk about this. Majors trading is coming to Lavarage. We used the quiet to build the next thing — and it's almost here. More details soon.
The market's gloomy. Our roadmap isn’t 🧠⚡️ Our co-founder @usagemonkey_sol joined @AccessProtocol for an AMA recently, sharing his market outlook and teasing what's coming with our majors trading launch. You'll want to hear this 👇

Very interested in what the coming era of highly bespoke software might look like. Example from this morning - I've become a bit loosy goosy with my cardio recently so I decided to do a more srs, regimented experiment to try to lower my Resting Heart Rate from 50 -> 45, over

Most spot margin: you borrow, interest ticks every hour, rate can change, you close and get a bill you didn't see coming. @Lavaragexyz: you see the full cost before you confirm. It locks. It never moves. But here's the real thing. $100 in. $400 exposure. Token goes 2x — you

Most spot margin protocols use variable rates. Cost spikes mid-hold, asymmetry disappears. @Lavaragexyz locks your cost at open. See it before you confirm. It never changes. Fixed cost isn't a spot margin trait. It's a design choice. We made it.

Example: $100 collateral. $400 position. Token goes to zero → lose $100. Token 3x's → position hits $1,200. Repay $300 borrowed. Walk away with $800 profit. 800% ROI on collateral. Capped downside. Uncapped upside.

Spot margin is different. You're buying the actual token — borrowed capital on top of your collateral. Max loss? What you put in. Nothing more. Upside? The token's full move on your entire position size.

When most people hear "leverage," they think perps. And with perps, that fear is earned. October 10th: $19B liquidated in hours. ADL cutting YOUR profitable short because someone else blew up. Zero-sum structure makes it unavoidable.

Most traders think leverage means bigger upside AND bigger downside. On spot margin, that's only half true. 🧵

A bread sells for 5, a half-baked bread doesn’t sell for 2.5 It sells for nothing and costs you reputation. Startup is not salaried work. It is all or nothing. Just wish I had known this earlier.
