the idea of creating ephemeral UIs quickly with GPT has been stuck in my mind since seeing this -- came in super handy today when I needed to handpick outcomes from a cfg for an art piece. otherwise I would have just generated a few hundred of them and ctrl + c'ed my way through.
I wanted to convert a JSON file of a chat transcript into nice markdown text for sharing w/ people...
so I had GPT generate an ephemeral React UI where I can drag in the JSON file and it outputs the markdown🤓
reflections on the process:

this tiny corner of my room brings me immense joy // having this dedicated space immediately chances how I feel when I step onto the tarp - wondering what other corners I can carve out for my loves

color gradients gone wrong: usually I just open an editor and go where the code takes me - tried to map out my thoughts and iterate on paper first today and I loved that I ended up at "CONSTRUCTIVE CHAOS"

last oil painting class and wanted to share my babies :)) I think one of joys of painting from reference is only having to worry about technique and having a meditative experience - also one of these is a gift so I hope I am not spoiling it
“Go to museums or read art books. Do anything you want. Just take note of the things that touch your heart. Then you’ll know what you like.” the advice I wish I had as a kid coming to me now from an anime

food poetry is the genre I didn't know I needed. food is so intimately connected to who we are: how we show love, ties our ancestral connections, nurturing our bodies and souls. super glad to have been able to workshop this in jane wong's class 🥰

detained
so that I may wear green and gold
praying to be noticed

most of my work up until now has involved snippets of text written by me and generated by grammars, assembled by the reader. this experience has more material explicitly from me than usual, pulled from journal entries over the past few years
