The Storybook site I built out is on the front page of Storybook now! It always makes me feel so proud when I find it out there in the wild. It was so much fun to build too. I love @storybookjs ❤️ https://t.co/Je3KOmjoc1

I don’t know about you all, but 2023 was a pretty stressful year. I am starting off 2024 with a new role at Nutanix! I’ll still be doing UX Engineering and working on plenty of new and exciting things. Happy new year!

I feel for everyone at Spotify, Twilio, and any other company going through layoffs. Community is important at a time like this. If anyone impacted finds an open role at Nutanix that interests them, please reach out to me.

One of the top worst experiences is refreshing your email every minute to see if you’re impacted by a layoff.

I recently migrated an entire application from create-react-app to Vite at work (rip CRA) The transition was easier than expected. It was my first experience with Vite and the DX is nice. Jest to Vitest is a pretty straightforward transition too.

New Candidate Alert! I'm ghost posting for someone I know is amazing at their job and recently became available on the market. They're looking for a position as a UI or UX Engineer. Love to be able to be the go-to for CSS on the team. Ideally working with a design system

It’s a good weekend for rest. I hope you all can take a break from coding and screen time too.❤️

The Assets tab in the Figma for VS Code extension has a nice user experience to save and use assets. Not only is it easier to find assets, but when you select Export, it immediately prompts you to choose a path to save it to.

I've been playing around with the Figma VS Code Extension and I have to say it's pretty awesome. Can't wait to see how it evolves. And with Figma Dev Mode it is going to be ever important to become familiar with Figma as a Front End developer.
