Here's an updated plot for Seagreen Wind Farm. What a waste.
Scotland's largest wind farm (Seagreen) has wasted 60% of its output since June 2023, with bill payers paying over Ā£100m in curtailment - enough lost energy to charge 70 million electric cars.

Do these pipes leak? In a word: yes. I estimate 340,000 leaks are reported each year. Does this look hydrogen ready to you?. 3/

SGN did not respond with age data. The most impressive was Cadent - when I requested data on the age of their pipes, I had one response where the pipe was 125 years old!. 2/

Did you know that in order for something to be classed as antique, it must generally exceed an age of 100 years? . The Gas Networks: Cadent, WWU and NGN all own pipes which would be considered antique. 1/

The way EPCs are calculated is out of date. They're not fit for purpose. EPC reform was needed 10 years ago (!).
Properties in EPC bands D to G - 2.5 million homes across the UK - are being locked out of long-term fixed-rate mortgages. Guess what that means for those home values.
