Montgomery Parks, @MoCoRec, @MoCoCouncilMD, ,athletes and other guests today cut the ribbon for the White Oak Communty Recreation Center athletic field. The project is a partnership which began in summer 2020. Parks’ turf team renovated the field.

For Earth Day, our athletic field team improved soil health at the Parklawn Local Park soccer field with a little help from nature. They deep tine aerated the field then added 1,000 earthworms, which play an important role in soil health in many ways. #MoCoEarthMonth #EarthDay
