The perfect #VeteransDay story. Not enough people know of all the sacrifices made by nurses during WWII. My colleague @janiehar met a still surviving nurse who found the love of her life while serving. https://t.co/1XgP8f51ZJ

Not sure what it is today, normally nobody pays attention to my @AP -logo lanyard holding my press credential. Today I got stopped three times -- twice by journalism students and once by the head of an arts organization.

Love it when sources don’t even say thank you, just complain about the photos or whatever because they were with a group you’re no longer part of. Not interested in your squabbles. Cancel my subscription to your issues.

A reader thinks he is breaking the news to me that I have a name-twin at the LA Times. Since she is "much older and far more experienced," I really oughta change my "AP by-line name" (redundant) asap! Thanks Sherlock. What should I change it to given it's MY ACTUAL NAME?!
