convex is an inferior product and you should use a better realtime product like instant db literally "cascading deletes are so dangerous" is the dumbest thing I have ever heard and cements my point that when you "cook with convex" you are subject to their entire engineering
We often get asked to implement cascading deletes in Convex and I’ve been hesitant to do so because it’s so dangerous in production apps. The software engineering approach would just be to implement a modular deleteUser() etc function which deletes stuff cleanly.
