Congratulations to your #BirdOfTheYear Damn furious about the pelican, ibis and brush turkey but hey, they are still beautiful
The two tawny frog mouth chicks I found today, most likely blown from their nest yesterday A couple of phone calls later to the NPWS & WIRES along with some help from a local who will check back and they'll hopefully grow into even more beautiful adult birds

As Central Coast and now Blue Mountains commuters continue to whinge about the new Mariyung trains, a reminder that people with mobility issues are now allowed to travel inside an air conditioned carriage rather than be forced to ride in a squalid small vestibule area

This is great to see, someone making a tiny effort to bring big, positive results
We have a very busy work site with vehicles and heavy machinery going every which way. A ute went straight over a banded lapwing nest, so I have marked it with stakes.
