And here is how computers are better drivers than humans!! This happened to me a few days ago. My car with full self-driving capability onboard saw the pedestrian early, predicted its path and started a smooth braking maneuver (maximum of -0.3 G force). The driver responsible

Many more Tesla self-driving V14 improvements still to come, but wide rollout of V14.1 has begun. 14.2 rolls out in a few weeks and then 14.3 a few weeks later, depending on safety testing. There is so much change that we are carefully confirming each one.

A number of exciting and important updates coming with FSD 14.1. Looking forward!
FSD 14.1, the first in the v14 series, has officially started rolling out to customers! Many follow up releases, with significant improvements, are in the works. These should ship through the rest of this year. Enjoy, and looking forward to your feedback!

Idea to improve self-driving Teslas: let FSD communicate directly with the navigational system. Say a road is closed. Rather than FSD first reacting to the closure, and navigation THEN reacting to the change in route, have FSD tell the nav system immediately, so that it can tell

So it will only be the FSD testers well-known in the community (āearly wide releaseā probably means those, vs employees only, vs wide release ie everyone) that will get 14.0, 14.1, and 14.2, respectively, before everyone else? This post is syntactically ambiguous :-)
@Jason Version 14.0 goes into early wide release next week, then 14.1 about 2 weeks later and finally 14.2. The car will feel almost like it is sentient being by 14.2.

When I launched Figure three years ago, I couldnāt have guessed how far weād come The big question at the time: would neural networks actually work on a humanoid this complex? Weāve shown they do. Now itās all about scaling https://t.co/iXk0A9gspS
