As of the start of All star break, Minnesota Lynx lead the league in Net w a rating of 12.4. If the szn ended today, they’d be 10th all time in net behind the 2012 Lynx (12.5) and ahead of the 2013 championship Lynx squad (12.2.).
Realistically speaking, if W fans cared abt certain stats, net rtg should have far more weight in fan convos than it does considering 21 out of the 27 championship winners led the league in Net (& 5 out of the 6 that didn’t, were in the top 3, 2021 Chicago the only outlier)

There r fair critiques abt comments made on the more fantastical characters and the Riddlers design, but I don’t know if this argument can fully work for a film that also was promoted with the comics that inspired the story in hand.

To be fair, Reeves was pretty open with what comics inspired The Batman (O’ Neil’s Bronze Age runs, Long Halloween, Ego, Year one, Hush, etc.) and their inspiration is pretty evident in the story. I don’t if ashamed is what I’d call it.
The fact that the MCU can associated with being ashamed of the comics when both The Batman and The Penguin exist says it all honestly.

The vision for Kara is so clear tho. I think if they stick to the editorial vision of Woman of Tomorrow and less of #his creative freedoms, it might be quite good, top tier even but that depends on if Ana Nogueira can deliver, I hope she does. It’s a solid debut for the DCU.

*Semi spoilers*. This was obviously Byrne and Smallville inspired but that also means having to see one of my least favorite takes of Kryptonians once again. It’s a very lame way to write Clark’s heritage & his journey of embracing where he came from.
