What I find amusing about historic reaction to the Royal "It's A Knockout" are the people who say it just ended up being a load of trivial nonsense. Of course it was! It was "It's A Knockout" for goodness sake! We never thought we were making high art or nuanced drama. Sigh. 🤔.

Anybody watch "It's A Royal Knockout, The Untold Story" on @channel5_tv on Saturday night? I was in it quite a lot. I enjoyed the programme, although I don't think our show was quite as shambolic as @NinaMyskow made out. Watch it on @My5_tv catch-up.

Who remembers "It's A Royal Knockout" from Alton Towers? Well I was the assistant producer on that and had one of the most surreal days of my life! ITN are making a doc' for Channel 5 all about it, and I was interviewed for some 3 hours about my memories. I'll keep you posted.

I've done more radio interviews about my quiz book than any of the others! Particularly good one with Jonathan Ray at #BBCHereford . He really loved the subject so we talked for ages, starting about 15 mins from the start. #quiz
